What Is The Recovery Like?
Swelling is common post procedure and is managed with ice, anti-histamines, and/or steroid. Some bruising may occur, but be managed with Arnica and avoiding non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen. We recommend acetaminophen to reduce any discomfort. Avoid too much exercise or any activity that can put a strain on your body for the first 72 hours following your Thread Lift. To allow the threads to settle and minimize strain and discomfort in the first few weeks, try to minimize exaggerated facial movements and opening the mouth wide to eat or for dental appointments. For the first month, avoid face-down massages, facials, laser treatments, IPL, RF, and sleeping on your side or stomach.
